Drift Boat Trips with Ontario Brook Trout Guide |
Traveling just 2 hours north of Toronto you enter Ontario's largest population of brook
trout.
Over one third of Ontario's brook trout is located in the Muskoka, Algonquin Park Region making
it one of North America's premiere brook trout destinations.
Your guide Michael has 20 years experience guiding flyfishermen on the pristine lakes and river
systems of Algonquin Park and surrounding areas. These cool, clear brook trout & smallmouth
bass waters receive very little fishing pressure compared to the angler congested river systems
of Southern Ontario. Here the only anglers you will see is the blue heron and the osprey.
The athletic river smallmouth bass is so numerous that you will be glad the guide supplies all the flies needed.
A 4,5 or 6 weight fly rod is all that's needed to catch a brook trout or smallmouth bass. If you don't have you own fly rod you can use one of Mike's White River outfits. Streamers, dryflies along with indicator style nymph fishing is used to catch both brook trout and smallmouth on these beautiful rivers.
